Job Overview

About the Role:

As a Junior to Mid-Level .Net Developer at takepayments, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our payment processing systems and applications. You will collaborate with a talented team of developers to design, build, and deploy scalable and efficient solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This is a remote position with occasional travel to our Head Office in Stockport.

Responsibilities of our .Net Developer:

• Develop and maintain .NET/ASP.NET applications using C# programming language.
• Utilize Microsoft DevOps/Azure for continuous integration and deployment of applications.
• Contribute to the development of React Native, Android, and iOS applications and tools.
• Design and manage SQL databases using SSMS, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Configure and maintain IIS setup for web application hosting.
• Implement source control using GIT, Sourcetree, Git Kraken, or similar tools to manage codebase effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse user needs, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in software development.

Required skills for our .Net Developer:

• Ecommerce or payment gateway experience
• Ability to communicate with Business users and external clients/suppliers, translating business needs into software solutions
• The ability to establish and nurture business-like relationships with people in the business
• Ability to take responsibility for ownership, timeliness and accuracy of assigned daily tasks
• Ability to work under own initiative, within the agreed frameworks of the team
• Willingness to learn new skills with a positive pro-active approach
• First class verbal and written communication skills
• Diplomacy and commercial awareness
• Adaptable approach to work and ability to work accurately within timescales
